My mantra? That death's a crafty devil, pushing us into the theater of life with a sly grin, tapping us on the shoulder just when we get a bit too comfortable in our seats. It's a constant reminder, a silent whisper, nudging us towards the extraordinary, spurring us to make our fleeting moments count. And while this may seem a tad morbid to some, for me, it serves as the most potent kickstarter. When we truly grasp that our time here has an expiration date, the world takes on a more vibrant hue, life becomes a bit more delicious, and we dare to suck the marrow out of every passing second.

Nobody exists on purpose. Nobody belongs anywhere. We're all going to cross the finish line someday. So be nice, love everyone, and embrace the dance of life and death. Paradoxically, it's often the shadow of mortality that gives our lives the most brilliant, vibrant colors. The consciousness of our transient existence, the awareness of our own mortality, imbues our lives with a sense of urgency, a compelling intensity that transforms our every day, making each moment a precious gem to be treasured.

So what does a day in my life, colored by this sense of mortality, look like? Here's the blueprint: It starts with the cool morning air kissing my cheeks as I kick off an adventurous cycling spree. The sun warms up the world as I share belly laughs with my tight-knit crew, our bond strengthening with each shared experience. The evening finds us shaking our limbs to the infectious Lindy Hop beat, the music seeping into our souls as the world recedes, replaced by a bubble of joy and shared rhythm.

When it comes to chasing targets, I don't just aim for them, I dance towards them. To me, dance is more than just a form of expression; it's the jazzy heartbeat of life, an intricate choreography of experiences that shape us, mold us, and make us who we are. Alongside my passion for dance, I have an insatiable hunger for fitness, a drive to connect deeper with my tribe, and a mind constantly seeking nourishment from a hearty feast of words. Life, in my world, isn't just a simmering pot; it's cooking on a groovy flame!

Writing is my soul's chosen language. It's through weaving words and crafting narratives that I make sense of the world and my place in it. I'm forever on the hunt for those rare, extraordinary people, who carry an entire universe within them. I strive to understand what makes them tick, to dive into their depths, and to draw inspiration from their wild and gorgeous stories. From these interactions, I weave tales that pulse with life, painting vivid pictures of shared human experiences. As I often say, I'm all about the brain-and-heart high-five, ensuring they're both fully engaged before I plunge into any intimate connections.

If you were to ask me where my happy place is, I would guide you to a place where plants reach up to touch the sky, where animals frolic freely, and where the sun warmly caresses the earth. It's in this verdant haven that I let my spirit run wild. Here, I become the living embodiment of the phrase “dance like no one's watching,” and wouldn't hesitate to break into song or lose myself in the rich tapestry of music.

In terms of romance, I'm in a phase of content solo dancing. However, life has taught me never to say never. So, if fate, destiny, the universe, or merely chance cause our paths to intersect, and we find our rhythms aligning, I'm more than open to exploring the sweet dance of romance. But remember, no pressure! We're just two stardust beings sharing a dance. As a close friend once articulated, “Chilling with Sega's a breeze, 'cause you know he's there 'cause he digs it.”

In the grand cosmic dance, we're all stardust, drifting through the cosmos for a brief moment in time. So, let's make our journey count. Let's be kind, love generously, and remember, nobody exists on purpose, nobody belongs anywhere, and we're all going to cross the finish line someday. Until that day, let's live it up, let's savor every second, and let's fill the cosmos with our laughter. What brings jazz to your life? What makes your soul sing? Would you share your stories, too? After all, we're all dancers in this grand performance of life, and every dance is better with a bit of company.

As my thoughts climax into words, I find them spiraling and spinning into a form that is as rhythmic as my life's mantra -Dancing with Mortality. So, I invite you to join me as I distill these thoughts into a dance of verses. This confessional lyric poetry is just an extension of the sentiments expressed in my blog. It's my attempt at capturing the essence of life, death, love, friendship, solitude, and celebration. And so, without further ado, I present to you my poem, "The Stardust Waltz."

The Stardust Waltz

In the grand theater of life, I dance,
With Death as my unlikely partner, in a cryptic trance,
Oh, he's a crafty devil, with a sly, cunning glance,
Prodding me towards the extraordinary, life's radiant expanse.

Nobody exists on purpose, nobody belongs anywhere,
We're all just stardust, suspended in celestial air,
So, let us love generously, let us share,
For we all will cross the finish line, let's live without despair.

My day dawns with a cycling spree, in the morning light,
Belly laughs with friends, pure delight,
Evening brings the Lindy Hop, dancing through the night,
The moon as our spotlight, our spirits in flight.

Targets are not just to meet, but to whirl towards in a dance,
A rhythmic quest for fitness, friendship, a literary romance,
Life's not merely simmering, it's on a groovy expanse,
Each experience, an intricate step in this jazzy trance.

Words are my allies, my soul's secret tongue,
Weaving tales from the depths, where emotions are sprung,
In the labyrinth of the human spirit, my verses are flung,
A brain-and-heart duet, an unsung song sung.

Where is my solace? In nature's lush embrace,
Where the sun kisses the earth, a serene place,
Dancing like no one's watching, in her vast space,
I am a melody, floating in her infinite bass.

In love's grand ballroom, I currently waltz alone,
A solo performance, to life's unpredictable tone,
But if fate ushers in a partner, in a rhythm unknown,
I'd twirl in tandem, in this cosmic zone.

We're all just celestial dancers, fleeting and free,
In the grand cosmic waltz, an ephemeral spree,
Remember to live, to love, to truly see,
For we're all crossing the finish line, in life's symphony.

So, I ask you, fellow dancers, in the theater of the night,
What brings jazz to your life, what ignites your light?
Let's share our tales, in the moon's soft light,
In this grand performance of life, every dance is a delight. :D
